On 03-29-12, New Braunfels Police Department, along with Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Cody Wayne Cummins for several burglaries of motor vehicle that occurred in their perspectives jurisdictions. Several items to include a handgun were recovered. However, information obtained suggests that there is a black 45 Glock handgun that has exchanged hands several times. This can be a potentially very dangerous situation.

Burglary of a motor vehicle C11-10-3521
On the weekend of October 21, 2011 Christianson Plumbing located at 8154 Bracken Creek Dr. Bracken, Texas. Three of the company trucks that were parked behind a gated fenced area that was locked. The burglary was noticed when the employees returned to work on Monday 10/24/2011. Some of the things the suspects took were Copper/Brass, plumbing supplies and several different types of hand tools were stolen from the vehicles. There was some video taken of the suspects and still images were taken from the video. Please see if you can recognize the person in the video still.

The Grinch or Grinch’s who stole Christmas
The Comal County offices located at the old Goodwin Elementary School off Churchill Dr. was broke into sometime during the night (12/20 and 12/21/2011)
Unknown person (Grinch) or persons (Grinch’s) broke into the building and stole an undetermined amount of cash gift cards, electronic devices, and personal items from the building.
All of the items (gifts) that were taken from the building had been personally donated by elected officials and department heads of the County and were to be given as door prizes to county employees at their annual Christmas. The luncheon was held today at the Civic Center (12/21/2011).

On August 28, 2011 around 1800 Hrs, it was reported to Comal County Sheriffs Office that a home had been burglarized in the 7000 block of Devonshire Dr. Spring Branch Texas.

On Thursday 14 July, 2011 at about 0415 hrs, Comal County Sheriffs Office Deputies responded to a call at 16520 South Access Rd., Canyon Lake (behind the Dam Red Barn) in reference to a vehicle fire.
Upon there arrival Deputies met with the Canyon Lake Fire Dept. who had already extingished the fire. The Fire Department summarized the two fire`s as suspicious in nature because they had found two vehicles on the property that were ablaze.
Both Vehicle Fires are now being investigated by the Fire Marshalls Office as Arson.
The two vehicles involved were described as
1) 2008 Grey Jeep
2) 2008 Grey, Dodge, Magnum.

On 05-20-11, the unidentified individuals pictured above entered the Game Stop, 651 S Walnut Ave, at 4:06 pm and spoke to employees about gaming systems. At approximately 4:14 pm, they committed a Robbery.

On November 7, 2010 at approximately 9:52pm, New Braunfels Police were dispatched to an armed robbery after two Hispanic males entered the location, held a handgun to the clerk and demanded money from the register. The clerk handed over an unknown amount of cash while the second subject took items from the establishment.
Suspects are described as:
1) Hispanic male, approximately 5-09, 220-240 lbs, mid 20’s, heavy set, a Sean John hoodie, white t-shirt, jeans, and black and white shoes, displayed a black, automatic pistol, possibly a .45 cal;
2) Hispanic male approximately 6-00, 175-200 lbs, white shirt, and jean shorts,

Felony Theft Case # C10-09-1375 This week’s Crime of the Week involves the Burglary of a building, theft of Five cases of Beer and Two boxes of candy. |
On Sunday September 12, 2010 the Spring Branch Bowling Club at 12830 US HWY 281 N. Spring Branch had been burglarized. The manager discovered the building had been burglarized around 10:00 AM Sunday Morning. The Actor(s) gained entry into the building through a rear wall of the building. Five cases of beer and two boxes of candy were taken during this burglary. Comal County Sheriff’s investigators are looking for leads in this case, and could use your help. New Braunfels Police Case # 14-36896 Theft $20,000 to $100,000
On Monday August 4th, 2014, NBPD was dispatched to the 2600 blk of Westmeyer Rd, regarding a theft. Construction workers arrived at the job site and discovered that two trailers and all contents of the trailers had been stolen from the constructions site. The trailers were taken between 4:30pm on August 3rd, 2014 and 6:30am on August 4th, 2014. One trailer was a blue in color 20 foot long Aris brand flatbed trailer with Louisiana License Plate #L313561. This trailer was loaded with a yellow in color Topcon Hyper V GPS system, an orange and white in color Stihl chop saw, and a blue in color Generac 5500 watt generator. This trailer and the equipment has not been found as of this time.
The second trailer was a white 30 foot box type cargo trailer with Frey Construction written on the sides. The second trailer and all contents were recovered on August 4, 2014 after being found abandoned on FM 482 in Comal County later in the day.
