A homeowner may have scared off some burglars while leaving for work, on Saturday, December 16^th, 2006. Sometime between 2:00A and the time of the call at 4:43A, persons broke into the home at 3052 Lakeview Dr, in the Canyon Lake Hills subdivision. They raided the presents under the Christmas tree and hauled off some of the loot, while leaving the house in disarray.

Evidence indicates that the thieves may be from the area of the offense, and were on foot. If you know about the new acquisition of a black Easton compound bow, with arrows, or a brown and blonde wood Martin Sigma guitar, Crime Stoppers would like to pay you a cash reward for the information about the new owner.

On Monday, December 18^th, Smithson Valley Middle School played New Braunfels Middle School, at SVMS, for the A & B basketball games. A purse was stolen from under the bleachers in the gym, during those games. Among other possessions in the purse, was a T-Mobile Sidekick 3 cell phone/ palm pilot, and a Candy brand pink watch. The purse is described as a square, black seatbelt woven purse. Someone at either school may be able to help, and is invited to call Crime Stoppers.
