On Monday, October 01, 2007, someone set a fire in a trashcan of the second floor A- wing boy’s restroom, at Smithson Valley High School, 14001 Hwy 46 West, Spring Branch, TX. This occurred at approximately 12:45P, and required the evacuation of a portion of the school due to heavy smoke produced by the blaze.
Elements of the Bulverde, Bracken, and Spring Branch Fire Departments responded, placing those firemen and the public at risk during they’re emergency response, as well as the danger to students and faculty of injury or death from a childish prank. Arson is a felony offense, and Crime Stoppers is inviting you to help solve this dangerous incident. It’s your school…. Protect It- like it was your home.
Comal County Fire Marshal’s investigators are looking for leads in this case, and could use your help. If you have any information, and you wish to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers makes this offer.
