12/30/2009 - Burglaries of Local Establishments

New Braunfels Police are investigating the burglaries of several local establishments including the Adobe Verde in Gruene, the Los Gallos restaurant on the loop and Freiheit Country Store on FM 1101 that occurred just before the Christmas holidays.  If you have information on these or any other burglaries in our city, please contact Crime Stoppers.

11/9/2009 - Dollar General Store Burglaries

Dollar General Stores throughout the state of Texas, as well as in surrounding states, have been experiencing a high number of burglaries that have law enforcement searching for suspects.  Dollar General Stores in Kyle, Dripping Springs, San Marcos and New Braunfels are just a few locally that have  been burglarized in the past several months.

11/2/2009 - Robbery - Postal Worker (Re-Post)
Robbery - Postal Worker

On September 30, 2009 Officers with the New Braunfels Police Department were dispatched to the 1000 Block of Linde Ave. for a Robbery that had just occurred. Investigation revealed that a postal worker delivering mail was assaulted and had his wallet taken. The suspect was described only as an unknown male wearing a maroon and khaki colored shirt.

10/14/2009 - Burglary of a Building - Knights of Columbus Hall

On 10-14-09, New Braunfels Police was dispatched to the Knights of Columbus Hall, 111 Landa Street, for a burglary of a building.  It was discovered that sometime between October 13 and 14th, an unknown

person(s) entered the establishment taking a wall clock, a weight scale, and a Budweiser chandelier, then helped themselves to other items inside a metal shed located at the rear of the property. NBPD and Crime Stoppers is asking for your assistance.

On Saturday, 10/03/2009 at 10:40 a.m., a Sheriff’s Office Deputy was dispatched to the 1200 block of Lakeshore Drive in the Canyon Shores Subdivision in Canyon Lake.

The homeowner stated that sometime between 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2009 and 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2009, someone had entered his property and removed four pieces of lawn care equipment that is valued at $6,800.00.

The New Braunfels Police Department is investigating the burglary of Sarika`s Thai Restaurant located at 263 Loop 337 that occurred on about September 19, 2009.  Though there were no signs of forced entry, thieves stole the cash register and laptop.

On Tuesday, 09/08/2009 at 12:36 pm, officers responded to the Comal County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a report of a theft in the 2200 block of S. Cranesmill Road in New Braunfels.

The homeowner stated he noticed early that morning his 16’ flatbed trailer was missing from his property.  The trailer was loaded with construction and ranching material and does not have working lights.

of a Stolen Trailer that occurred in the early morning hours on
Wednesday, Aug 5th in the 600 block of W. Coll St. The trailer had been
burglarized and bandits escaped with all types of music equipment and
