On Monday, August 6, 2007, deputies were called to the intersection of Wagon Wheel and Gold Oaks, in the Spring Branch subdivision of Cypress Springs. There sat two pieces of Comal County Road Department equipment, damaged by vandals. The damage occurred during the week prior to the report.
A road grader had all six tires flattened, and a window broken out. A roller had two tires flattened. This mischief idled some expensive equipment and the crews to operate them, costing you, the taxpayer, in damages and lost time, an amount making this a felony offense.
