About our Program

Comal County Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization run by volunteer citizens, providing residents a way to report crime anonymously and confidentially.

The Comal County Crime Stoppers program first began in 1986 and has since proven to be an invaluable tool for local law enforcement, including the Comal County Sheriff’s Office, the New Braunfels Police Department, the Bulverde Police Department, and the Garden Ridge Police Department.

Crime Stoppers also reaches into local schools within the Comal Independent School District and the New Braunfels Independent School District, giving students at the district’s middle schools and high schools a way to report criminal activity (like drugs, weapons, and tobacco) on campus.

Those that use Crime Stoppers to report criminal activity then become eligible for cash rewards, and, over the last 35 years, Comal County Crime Stoppers has helped solve nearly 1,350 cases leading to 1,200 arrests and paid rewards topping $251,000.
